an urban renewal project situated on the east bank of the Xiang River in Tianxin District, Changsha, Hunan Province, China, is positioned as a historical, cultural, and commercial complex. Drawing inspiration from the local heritage site Tianfu Palace, the design incorporates modernized visual elements rooted in Changsha’s intangible cultural heritage—specifically palm-weaving artistry and traditional curved eaves—to infuse new vitality into tradition.
